This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

The Trinity congregation organized in 1884 when a predominant movement of northern German immigrants came to Iowa, settling in the area surrounding Manning. Lutherans in Lincoln Township began conducting services in a school house. They constructed and dedicated their first church in 1884. The church was quickly outgrown and rebuilt in 1901. This building served the congregation, its’ members at one time numbering 250, until the church and its contents were destroyed by a tornado in March 1913.The congregation immediately began reconstruction of their church. The church was built in six months and dedicated in October 1913. That is the beautiful structure that still stands tall today in the Manning Hausbarn-Heritage Park. Economic hardship of the family farm and decline of the rural population caused the congregation of Trinity Lutheran to dwindle, and members re...
