Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Eriu was an earth goddess, and this painting focuses primarily on that aspect of her. I wanted to tune in to earth energies rather than focus on form. As I worked on the piece, I filled my mind with images of Ireland, the land itself, and its plentiful plant and animal life. Eriu was also considered a solar goddess, through her marriage to...

His work explores myth and the natural world. The process of making art, regardless of the medium, is a spiritual practice, and contemplative discipline. Please note that the paintings in the gallery are professional digital scans. The depth and range of colors are limited to the capability of the monitor that the image is being viewed on.
